Today, we feel sorry. Yes, we do. We feel sorry for those who’ll never be able to watch Him bat in an ODI game. We feel sorry, for those who’ll never be able to understand what it meant to wait for two wickets to fall so that GOD himself would come out to bat.
We feel sorry for those who’ll always be searching the internet for His videos so that they can get a glimpse of the magic this batting wizard spread. We feel sorry for all those bowlers across the world who will never be able to bowl to him. We feel sorry for all those batsmen, who’ll never be able to watch him closely and learn a few shots and improve their technique. We even feel sorry for the commentators as they won’t be able to comment on this legend’s batting, an opportunity every commentator looks forward to. We feel sorry for the tea stalls which were crowded with fans closely paying attention to the metallic scratchings of the radio, when Sachin was batting. We feel sorry for the electronic stores, which saw a large crowd outside the display window every time the Little Master came out to bat.

We can’t tell you how bad we feel when we think about those little kids who’ll wake up to an era which has passed. It’ll be like us hearing about Bradman and Gavaskar and dying to get a glimpse or two. They’ll be helpless, no doubt we feel sorry for them. Man we feel sorry for all those sign boards which we had in mind for Sachin’s comeback hundred. We feel sorry for all those fans in Australia who won’t be able to give a standing ovation to the little master anymore. We feel sorry for every person who has ever picked up a bat and thought of himself as Sachin Tendulkar and waived it around to an imaginary Akram , Waqar, McGrath or Pollock. We feel sorry for the grounds and galleries which can only reminisce the days when the legend played and walked there. There were times when He would punch his critics right in the face with his comeback century or half century. Well we feel sorry, for these moments won’t be here anymore.
.
We feel sorry for all those people who expected him to play against Pakistan and wreck havoc against his favorite opponents. We feel sorry for this nauseating media who’d be at a loss of topics from now on. Congratulations! You have choked the master out of the team. But we hope you very well know that your TRPs were a result of his presence in the team. His absence will leave you with no options, nothing to debate on and nothing to cry about. Damn we feel sorry for you lousy bastards.

Last but not the least, we feel sorry for all those people who have a lot to say about Sachin’s decision but their voices are not heard in this drowning noise of miseries. This is from all of us to YOU little master. We respect your decision and will not question it. But we want you to know how we feel.
“He came, He saw … and He conquered – OUR HEARTS”
