Kallis is the personification of the phenomenon-Underrated. Featuring in the Top run scorers in both major forms of cricket was not enough for this player from the Rainbow Nation. He even had to take more than 250 wickets in Test and ODIs, also making taking catches while yawning!(J.K.). At the fag end of his career, where players like to bask in their past laurels, thinking of T20 as a Time-pass cricket, meanwhile Kallis was the fulcrum of the IPL winning Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014, with an average of 31 in such an unpredictable format. Kallis also holds the distinction of scoring a century in his last Test Match, a claim many legends cannot make. Kallis is NOT the most obvious name when one discusses the greatest players of all time, even after such an exhausting list of achievements over a two decade career, I hope you get it why Kallis deserves to be on this list.
