The 20 year old Kerala born Wicket-Keeper batsmen became a household name with his purple patch in Indian Premier League (IPL). He represents Kerala in Ranji Trophy and holds a tally of 1,386 runs at an average of 44. He had also bagged “Young Player of the Season” award in 2013 IPL. In the six innings of 2014 Under-19 World Cup, he enthralled India’s hopes in tournament with 267 runs to his credit at an average of 45. As of now he is widely regarded as one of the most talented Wicket-Keeper batters in the country.
