The Kiwi opener, Martin Guptill has been in smashing run of form in the last year or so. In 2016, the 29-year-old has accumulated 252 runs in 5 T20 internationals and has already sent down warning signals to all the participants of the World T20. After getting ditched by all the franchises in the IPL auctions this year, the gracious Black Caps batter would look to prove his mettle in the Indian conditions. More so, the highest run-getter of the World Cup 2015 would love to win his side their first ever ICC title. After retirement of the Kiwi star, Brendon McCullum, Guptill’s experience and responsibility in the side will be paramount importance.
