9. Anil Kumble:
The greatest Indian bowler ever, Anil Kumble’s legacy is way beyond his astounding numbers. A sheer match winner in Test cricket, the Indian leggie is the third highest wicket-taker across all the formats of the game in international cricket. But it was his bamboozling performances in India’s unforgettable wins at Headingley, Adelaide, Multan and Kingston for which he will be remembered for centuries. Kumble was instrumental even in alien foreign conditions apart from tasting stupendous success in dust bowl conditions of India. The former Indian skipper is the only Indian bowler to grab 10 scalps in an innings of a Test match, a feat which he achieved against the arch-rivals, Pakistan at Delhi in 1999.
