6. England regaining the Urn:
The Ashes which was held in UK this year again testified the very saying ‘Lions at home, Lambs abroad.’ These days, we have seen the utter dominance of sides at home and the Ashes 2015 was no different. The Alastair Cook led English side thrashed the Kangaroos by 3-2 and thereby regained the Ashes as well as the prized Urn. It is worth-mentioning that the series was not as close as the score-line suggests. England had dominated the Aussies throughout the series and the fifth Test at the Kia Oval was just a formality as England had already secured the series and the Urn at the Trent Bridge. Finally, in this way the Poms had avenged their whitewash in the Ashes series played at the Down under.
