2. Advent of the Kohli era:
2015 was a year which marked the recitation of a new chapter in the history of Indian cricket with the dawn of the Kohli regime in the whites. The Delhi dasher took over full-time Test captaincy from the tour of Bangladesh. In the past few years, Dhoni’s poor overseas captaincy had been a hot topic clouding the Indian cricket. Finally, when the Indian limited overs skipper bid farewell to Test cricket, Virat Kohli, the apparent heir to take up the captaincy was handed over the reins of Indian team in Tests.
