3. Sachin Tendulkar’s emotional retirement
For every Cricket aficionado in India, Cricket and Sachin Tendulkar are synonymous to each other. Many young cricketers chose the sport after watching the Master Blaster bat while many people use to switch-off their TV sets when their most loved son, Sachin got out. Tendulkar has always been a darling figure for Indians who love him like hell while some worship him as the God. Even to imagine cricket without Sachin was unimaginable. The world of many Indians came to a standstill when the Mumbaikar called it quit in 2013 and played his farewell Test match at the Wankhade. Almost every Indian was heartbroken and in tears, as they were well aware that now they would no longer get to cheer for their hero in the Indian jersey again.
