6. India conquering 2013 ICC Champions Trophy
In 2013, India sealed its first ever win in ICC Champions Trophy at Edgbaston. The Indian team was very inexperienced and as the matches were held in UK, not many people had expected Dhoni and Co. to lift the trophy. But MSD had some other ideas. By winning the trophy, the Indian limited overs skipper became the first Captain in international cricket to win all the ICC trophies which is a big achievement in itself. It is notable that the final match was reduced to 20-overs per side after persistent rains. The final was an edge of the seat thriller and like a rollercoaster ride had its ups and downs but at the end it was the Men in Blue who had the last laugh as they showed nerves of steel against England.
