One of the most powerful hitter of the ball, the Kiwi captain as fondly called Baz, is a bowlers nightmare and is the epitome of aggression in the modern day cricket . When in full flow he snatches the game away in a matter of few overs from the jaws of the opponent bowlers. His World Cup exploits are still fresh in everyone’s mind. In the ongoing edition of the IPL, he smashed a scintillating 56 ball ton against the Sunrisers Hyderabad which had international firepower in their ranks with the likes of Trent Boult, Bhubneshwar Kumar, Praveen Kumar and Karn Sharma. So far, he has piled up 436 runs at a stupendous strike rate of 155. He has accumulated two half centuries and a century. Due to his national duties he has departed to England which could be a big loss for the Chennai Super Kings side in the play offs. He is ranked 6th in the list.
