The South African T-20 captain has been one of the most consistent performers in the history of IPL cricket. With a solid technique and ability to adapt to any given conditions, he is a perfect foil to hold up one end and then consolidate as the innings progresses. In what was a mediocre season for the Delhi Daredevils, his all round performances are worth appreciating. He is completely a team man and gracefully accepts what his team assigns him to. He had a splendid season with the bat as he plundered 414 runs at an average of 41. He scored as many as four half-centuries and had a decent strike rate of 131. He is ranked 8th in the list.
