5. New Zealand 350/9 vs Australia
The 2006-07 Chappell-Hadlee series again makes an entry in our list. After gaining an inaccessible lead of 2-0 in the series, New Zealand whitewashed Australian team in the third and final match of the series played on 20th February 2007.
It was a match in which the momentous knock of 181* by Matthew Hayden was outshined by Craig Macmillan’s 117 and Mcculum’s 86* runs knock respectively. This match also witnessed a mesmerizing finish when Kiwis 9th wicket pair of Mcculum and Mark Gillespie aggregated 36 runs. They reached victory with one wicket in hand and in the penultimate over.
