The Hit-man of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma has worked hard to dissociate himself from the ‘No-Hit’ tag. Way back in 2008, Sharma was touted by Pundits as the next big thing in Indian cricket. However, consistency eluded him and he was dropped for the 2011 World Cup. Following that disappointment, Rohit cut down his flab and stormed his way back through stellar domestic performances. However, he seemed to be relapsing to his old habits, before MS Dhoni asked him to open the innings. The move worked like a charm and Rohit Sharma has undergone a remake ever since. A couple of ODI double hundreds and some gritty 130s and 140s away from home have helped him cement his spot. Doubts are still cast over his temperament in test cricket but Rohit is visibly working on it. He is also the second highest run-getter in the IPL, where he plays for the Mumbai Indians.
