Andy Flower was for long the lone batsman of any standing in the otherwise inconsistent team of Zimbabwe. With a healthy average of 51 as a test player, it is clear how good a player Andy Flower was. In one of his highlight series of his career, Andy Flower scored 540 runs in a test series in India in just 4 innings. He represented his country in 63 test matches, taking 151 catches. Flower also had a fairly productive ODI career, averaging over 35 with 4 hundreds. Flower also made news for his protest of Human rights violation in Zimbabwe and his subsequent retirement after the 2003 World Cup. Flower seamlessly switched into a coaching role for England, enjoying two Ashes Victories and World No.1 Test Ranking for England.
