7. Mark Boucher
Mark Boucher is one of the modern era’s greatest wicketkeepers having played for South Africa for over a decade. During this time, Boucher was a regular member of the team and even captained his nation in 4 test matches, standing for Shaun Pollock. Boucher holds the record for most dismissals in Test with 555 dismissals, sitting pretty clear of his long time competitor Adam Gilchrist. Boucher was a handy lower order batsman, bailing out his team in dire situations, with his best reserved for the epic chase of 434 against Australia, where he hit the winning runs in the Greatest ODI match of all time. In ODIs too, Boucher is second placed on the list of most dismissals behind Gilchrist. Slowly with him being on the wrong side of 30s, he was becoming a less frequent member of the team. After being hit by a bail in his right eye in a practise game against Somerset, Mark Boucher had to sadly retire from international cricket, but not before becoming the most capped wicketkeeper till date.
