The Sri Lankan Test and ODI skipper, Angelo Mathews was always looked upon as a future great for the Island nation. And the Lankan all-rounder has done justice to every bit of hype and expectations as well. After the departure of Sanga and Mahela, Mathews seems set on the journey of becoming a legendary figure for Sri Lankan cricket. The 28-year-old is the head and shoulder of his side and a 50 plus average in Tests is a testimony of his indestructible temperament and mind-blowing consistency. Even in ODIs his average is almost 40 with the bat apart from his utility as a seamer for the Emerald islanders.
