Ab de Villiers is currently regarded as the best batsman of this generation. He is regarded as the most entertaining batsman of recent times. De Villiers is known as Mr. 360 widely with the number of shots in his batting arsenal.
There is probably no batsman at present in world cricket capable of emulating his scintillating stroke play. He scored his 8000th run from 182 innings. Given the fact that he has achieved the landmark in 180 odd innings which is 18 innings lesser than Ganguly speaks volumes of his prowess as a one day batsman.
