With 30 wickets in 19 ODIs (Econ: 5.36), Australia’s young gun; Adam Zampa emerged as the leading ODI bowler in 2016. The leg-spinner, who came into prominence with his exploits for South Australia and the Melbourne Stars, has made full use of whatever opportunities he has got in the Yellow jersey.
For long, Australia has been searching for a spinner who can take wickets as well as contain runs and the baby-faced; Zampa seems to be an ideal solution for the cause. Zampa also had a good outing in WT20, where he took 5 wickets in 4 games, with an excellent economy of 6.27. All in all, Zampa is a leggie to watch out for in white-ball cricket.
