When Ross Taylor burst on to the scene, he was an instant hit with the crowd with his attacking brand of batting. Especially, the way he dealt with spinners, often playing his signature slog-sweeps was a breath of fresh air in a country which hasn’t been that particularly known for its credentials against spin.
And he has done justice to his prodigal abilities as well as he sits on top of the chart when it comes to highest number of centuries for the Black Caps. The stylish right-hander has accumulated 16 tons in Tests to go with 15 hundreds in One-day internationals.
