9. Mohammad Amir (Pakistan)
The tainted Pakistani pacer, Mohammad Amir has returned to competitive cricket with a bang. Amir’s glittering performances with the ball at domestic level has earned him the national call-up for the tour of New Zealand as well. Though, the resistances which came en route to his comeback in the international cricket is a different story all together. The five year ban on Amir from international cricket for his involvement in spot-fixing case had expired in September, last year. Since then, the left-arm pacer has performed exceptionally well in Pakistan’s Quaid-e-Azam Trophy as well as the Bangladesh Premiere League (BPL). The 23-year-old still seems to be the same Amir who had emerged as a fiery fast bowler in 2010 and will be in spotlight this year for sure.
