6. Kieron Pollard (West Indies)
Kieron Pollard’s lack of sufficient progress in his rehabilitative work for knee injury compelled him to withdraw his name from the West Indies World T20 squad. A devastating lower middle order batsman, Pollard relies on his brawny powers to cause havoc on the 22 yards. The destructive right-hander holds an incredible strike-rate of 142 in T20 internationals. Apart from his batting, Pollard is very useful with the ball as well and is one of the best outfielders in the world. The West Indian has played 93 IPL games and is quite familiar with the Indian conditions as well. Pollard could have proved to be of immense significance for the Caribbean side in the World T20.
