7. Morne Morkel (South Africa)
He rattled opposition batsmen into submission, none more so evident than the 38th over against New Zealand in the 43 over semi final wherein he conceded only one run and removed the well-set Corey Anderson. His passion for the game was for display in his tears after the loss, but on the field Morkel made sure that South Africa never seemed like chokers, bowling his heart out whenever de Villiers called him to do so. With Dale Steyn seeming out of touch, Morkel put his hand up and led from the front with relentless pace and bounce.
