The lion was asleep till the quarter finals but managed to wake himself up wide awake for the semi final and the final. A more than handy cameo against India in the penultimate match saw him regain his confidence with the ball as he ran through India and then replicated his form against New Zealand in the final, emerging as the highest wicket taker from there. His pace was unmatched by anyone else and he also refrained from his old habit of spraying the ball around when things didn’t go his way.
