1. Mitchell Starc (Australia)
By far, the best bowler on show. It is an art itself to swing the ball on flat pitches, but to do so at a speed of 150 kph, and that too regularly and with pin-point accuracy is sheer skill. Starc put all these on display in three balls to Brendan McCullum in the first over of the final, ultimately resulting in his wicket with a perfect yorker. Starc dismantled other teams too, and almost single-handedly managed to pull victory from the jaws of defeat in their group stage match against New Zealand. Rightly, he won the Man of the Tournament award.
