4. India vs Kenya, 24 October 2001
The Holy pair of Sourav Ganguly & Sachin Tendulkar ran havoc on Kenya that day. It was an all together familiar feeling of having seen it all- firstly 100 runs, their 16th time and too in the 16th over- on its way breaking the Long held record of Gordon Greenidge & Desmond Hayes. As if it wasn’t enough , they even racked up a double century stand . This time it was the turn of their own record of highest opening partnership which they broke when they crossed 252. After these two, Sehwag made his presence with a blistering fifty of just 23 balls setting Kenya a target of over 350 twice in three days. It wasn’t a surprise when Kenya came out with more of an Intent to play out a draw albeit it wasn’t a test match to their loss.
