6. Jean Paul Duminy (South Africa)
JP Duminy is one among the South African players like Jaques Kallis, Ab Devilliers, Albie Morkel who has been consistent in the IPL. JP Duminy started off in international cricket and IPL as a middle order batsman who knew to play both the orthodox and out of the book shots. He was extremely successful in his vigour as a batsman. But off late, during the past few seasons he has added another armour up his sleeve – bowling. Duminy is not a bowler who is unplayable, but certainly handy bowler to have in the limited overs format. Over the years, JP Duminy has played for teams like Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers and Delhi Darevils. He was earning his success in Deccan Chargers, but had to move on into Delhi Daredevils when Deccan Chargers were disbanded. JP Duminy has played just 58 matches in the IPL, of which he has scored 1517 runs and scalped 20 wickets. The most impressive part remains to be his batting though, averaging at 38.90 which is creditable. Duminy is no. 6 in the list of top 10 best all rounders in IPL.
