1. Suresh Raina (India)
Suresh Raina is the most quintessential player for the Chennai Superkings after MS Dhoni obviously ! When Dhoni was not performing with the bat, there was always a Suresh Raina who took up the responsibility. Things were not happening in favour of Raina, when he was dropped from the Indian team in 2007. It was then BCCI went ahead with the Indian Premier League. Consistent performances in the IPL helped Raina to regain his form and his place in the Indian team. Since then he has been a mainstay both for the national side and Chennai Superkings. The thing with Raina is that, he is in every sense an all-rounder be it on the field, with the bat and with the ball. When Dhoni runs out fuel, he gives Raina the ball and in most cases he delivers. Raina is also one of the top run getters in the Indian Premier League. Suresh Raina has played 120 matches and scored 3452 runs at an impressive average of 35.31. He has also scalped 22 wickets so far in the IPL. He is no. 1 in the list of top 10 best all rounders in IPL.
