4. Imran Tahir (South Africa) – 27 wickets
The ICC no.2 ODI bowler of the world, Imran Tahir has been the best spinner in last three years when it comes to 50-overs format. The leg-spinner backed up his brilliant performances of 21 and 37 wickets in 2014 and 2015 with 27 wickets, this year. Tahir delivered his best performance of the year in Tri-nation series, where he picked up 13 wickets, including his career-best figures of 7/45 against West Indies at Basseterre.
The Pakistan-born spinner also played an imperative role against Australia at home, where he had 6 wickets in 4 games, and most importantly, he had a miser economy of 4.68. Tahir is South Africa’s trump card in white-ball cricket.
