5. Mitchell Starc (Australia) – 26 wickets
Arguably, world’s best fast bowler at present, Mitchell Starc finds himself at fifth position on the list. Starc, who was the highest ODI wicket-taker in 2015 couldn’t quite repeat the feat due to injuries, which affected his availability, greatly. But still he had a great impact in what, 13 ODIs he played in 2016. The Sydney-born cricketer took 26 wickets with an economy of 4.49, average of 19.69 and strike-rate of 26.2, which is just fantastic.
He had an exceptional series against Sri Lanka, where he took 12 wickets in 5 matches and put across a bold statement, that he can take wickets any part of the world.
