6. Josh Hazlewood (Australia) – 26 wickets
Much like Glenn McGrath, Josh Hazlewood can find the perfect line and length, on any deck and keep bowling there, day in, day out. He greatly tests a batsman’s technique by bowling at perfect lengths early in the innings, when anyone is most vulnerable. And Hazlewood has proved his worth with white-ball as well. In 2016, the youngster took 26 wickets in 15 innings and maintained an economy below 5.
His best performance of the year came in the big Final of the Tri-nation series where he took a five-fer and helped Australia lift the Cup.
