9. Rashid Khan (Afghanistan) – 22 wickets
It’s a great achievement for Afghanistan’s leg-spinner; Rashid Khan to make it to the list of top 10 leading bowlers. Rashid who idolizes Shahid Afridi, pocketed 22 wickets in 12 ODIs at an excellent average of 19.50 and miserly economy of 4.12. His best performance came in Bangladesh where he picked up 7 wickets in 3 games and not in a single match, his economy reached 4 per over. It takes some getting to outfox and restrict Bangladeshi batsmen at their den. Khan can bat as well and scored 215 runs at 23.89, this year
The 18-year-old had performed quite well in Asia Cup and World T20. He is also referred to as the ‘Afridi of Afghanistan’. The teen leggie had also claimed 12 wickets in his debut First-class game against England Lions, this year. So, Rashid Khan is certainly a player to watch out for, in times to come.
