6. Morne Morkel (South Africa):
Morne Morkel has been South Africa’s best bet in limited overs cricket as far as fast bowlers are concerned. Most importantly, the lanky Protean pacer bowled with a big heart in the World Cup 2015 when it mattered the most. The 31-year-old was the fourth highest wicket-taker of the tournament and the leading South African bowler with 17 wickets up his sleeve at an average of 17.58. In the Semi-Final match of the World Cup, when all the Proteas bowlers were leaking runs, he was the one who outfoxed the fiery Brendon McCullum and then Kane Williamson. Even in the latter stages of the game, Morkel gave his side a ray of hope when he took the crucial wicket of Corey Anderson but unfortunately his heroic efforts went in vain. The experienced campaigner took 28 wickets this year at a miserly economy of 4.69
