1. Mitchell Starc (Australia):
Australia’s speed demon, Mitchell Starc is the fourth left-arm pacer to make it to the list. This year in Starc, we have seen glimpses of a great fast bowler who can well go on to become a legend in the years to come. The 25-year-old has the ability to terrorize any batter with his ferocious pace which when coupled with swing turns the 22 yards into a living hell for any batsman. Starc’s impactful performances in the World Cup in which he was the leading wicket-taker with 22 wickets earned him the prestigious Player-of-the-Tournament award as well. His unplayable in-swinging Yorker with which he got rid of the Kiwi Skipper, Brendon McCullum in the World Cup Final set the tone for his side in the match which they went on to win comprehensively. Currently, the best fast bowler in the world, Starc bags the top honours in our list as well.
