8. Rohit Sharma (India):
At present, is there anyone better in the cricketing world than Rohit Sharma to know what is the load of heavy baggage of expectations one has to carry when he is being labeled as ‘talented’ by the world. The answer is a no brainer. The 28-year old Mumbaikar had his shares of ups and downs in a career which has eclipsed 8 years at international level. But now finally, Rohit seems to have come off age. The Hitman has transpired to be the pillar of Indian ODI outfit. In 2015, Sharma has hammered 815 runs at an average of 50.93 and strike-rate of 95. In the World Cup Quarter-Final, the stylish batter had played a marathon knock of 137 runs. The most remarkable thing about Rohit is that, he knows the recipe of scoring big hundreds in ODIs. Even this year, the exuberant batter has blasted three centuries and all of them have been scores in excess of 136 runs.
