The former Indian right arm fast-medium bowler who was at the center of a number of controversies such as the slap-gate incident as well as the match fixing incident, started off his test career against England. His career high came against South Africa where he took 8 for 99 with an economy rate of 2.82 at Johannesburg. Sreesanth’s consistency with the ball, his fine seam and his pitching of Yorkers was his asset but later on he got sidelined due to lack of fitness. Ultimately, his career came to a halt when he got a life -time ban from playing cricket.
