9. Ajinkya Rahane (India) – 18
One of the batting pillars of Indian National team in the longer form of the game, Rahane enjoyed a smooth transition in the T20 format as well. This Mumbaikar is a typical classical batsmen who oozes a lot of class and elegance with his orthodox style of batting. He proved all his critics wrong with his splendid performances in the IPL. As a modern day player, he displayed great application and resilience in this format of the game. He has played for Mumbai Indians but got limited opportunities .But, in the Rajasthan Royals Colours and under Dravid’s mentorship, he emerged as a prolific run scorer for his side. So far, he has racked up 17 scores of half-century and 1 century at an average of 34 and a decent strike rate of 120 in the IPL. Ajinkya Rahane is 9th in the list.
