1. 151 against India in 2004:
A young boy from Australia visiting India on his debut tour, he faces the challenge of playing against spin in India to which many overseas players fail. Clarke’s use of the feet against spin is so impeccable that one simply loves to see him batting against spinners. The boy with blonde hair took the attack to India and scored a superb knock of 151 runs in his debut innings and in alienated conditions actually. Clarke hit 18 fours and 4 mammoth sixes in the innings and rightfully was adjudged as player of the match. Australia went on to win the test. It was the same series where Clarke bowled and breath-taking spell of spin bowling bundling up 6 wickets for a mere 9 runs. A dream debut for Clarke and on this debut his whole career has shaped and he has not changed a bit, the same runs, the same passion and most importantly the same fearless brand of cricket.
