3. Sanath Jayasurya (Srilanka) – 64 runs
Sanath Jayasurya entered the limelight during the 1996 World Cup, when his exploits with the bat and ball led Srilanka to cup success. Jayasurya would probably go down in history as one of the greatest pinch hitters to have played the game. He also bowled left arm spin and was known to break partnerships when the team wanted. He was however known to be the favourite of many left handers like Gayle and Ganguly. Sanath Jayasurya gets to no.3 in the list, for having conceded 64 runs off his allotted 4 overs against Pakistan in 2007.
