11. Zaheer Khan (India):
Zaheer Khan is the most successful pacer in India after the era of Kapil Dev. Though he struggled in the initial phase of his international career with form and injuries but his fortunes took a U-turn after his stint in the County cricket. Zak’s mastery lies in his mental ability which made him a street smart pacer. From swinging the new ball to reverse swinging the old one, from his deceptive cutters with the white cherry to his unbelievable adaptability and control with all kind of red cherries, he was proficient in all the arts of fast bowling. The 37-year-old had the knack of striking at crucial junctures of time and the way he excelled on flat sub-continent tracks testifies his class as a bowler. Khan was the joint-highest wicket-taker in World Cup 2011 in which India triumphed to glory after 28 long years.
Zak picked up 610 wickets in the Indian jersey and if it was for injuries he could have ended up as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time.
