Tamim Iqbal has been a stable opener for Bangladesh in all of the formats. For a team like Bangladesh to have a batsman of Tamim’s stature have done them a world of good. When he broke into the international scene, he was caught a bit careless at times and throwing wickets away at crucial intervals.
Now he has pictured himself as Bangladesh’s best opener and arguably as one of the best batsman ever to play for Bangladesh. The recent Champions Trophy success is a testimony to that.
