5. Lord’s, England
The number 5 in our List of most beautiful cricket stadiums goes to the Historic Lords Cricket Ground. This is also referred as the “Home of Cricket” and the “Mecca of Cricket”. It is one of the Oldest cricket venues in the World. It is the home of Marylebone Cricket Club, English and Wales Cricket and the Middlesex cricket Team. Till 2005, it was also the Home ground for ICC. The Lords Pavilion consists of a small balcony for players to watch the play. It also contains two honour Boards which consists of the name of the batsmen who scored a century and the Bowlers who took taking five wickets in a Test innings and ten wickets in a Test match. Lord’s was also one of the venues for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The archery competition took place in front of the Pavilion.
