6. MCG, Melbourne
The number six in our list of most beautiful cricket stadium in the world is occupied by MCG. It is the sports tenth-largest stadium in the world, the largest in Australia, the largest stadium for playing cricket, and holds the world record for the highest light towers at any sporting venue. It acts as a home to Australian Cricket team, Melbourne Stars, Victoria Bushrangers and a cluster of Football Teams. This is a historic cricket venue which hosts a Traditional Boxing Day test Match which begins on December 26 every year. MCG was included on the Australian National Heritage List in 2005. MCG has the statues of Shane Warne, Dennis Lille, Sir Don Bradman. MCG is also used as the centrepiece stadium of 1956 Summer Olympics and the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
