ICC Champions Trophy Team Preview – ENGLAND
X-Factor
It wont be easy for an opposition team to face the English Seamers at their own backyard. With the kind of way James Anderson, Steven Finn and Stuart Broad rattled the New Zealand batting Line-up, it is a danger sign for the opposition teams. Always it’ll be tougher for the touring teams to face England’s Pace attack. Given the conditions suiting the fast bowlers, its time for Anderson and co. to make amends for their team.
Watch Out For
Over the past one month, this man has become the root of England’s batting Line-up. Since making his debut for England, Joe Root has been consistent with the bat. He will be the perfect foil for Eion Morgan to guide England home safely. With Kevin Pietersen missing out due to an injury, Joe Root has to take up the responsibility of scoring runs. Given the kind of form Root is in, One can expect him to fire for England in the Champions Trophy.
