10. Stuart Broad (England) – 48 wickets, Ave: 26.56
There was a tough choice to make between England’s Chris Woakes and Stuart Broad but we went with Broad considering he performed fabulously in South Africa and was England’s best bowler on Indian tour as well. On other hand, Woakes had a very lean patch outside England. Broad’s demolishing spell of 5-1 at Johannesburg helped England to a famous series win.
The tall pacer had blown away the top six of African batting, single-handedly, and it was one of the best bowling performances, this year. Even in India, he took a four-fer at Visakhapatnam and displayed exemplary skills in alien conditions.
