Ashes – Australian team for W.A.C.A.

Ashes 2013/14 – Preview, Australian Team for 3rd Test – Perth -, The Ashes of earlier this year is looking like an alien for England fans, the trashing they got in first two tests left them in distress. The monstrous Mitch left whole side of England including the pom chieftain clueless with 17 wickets. The Extreme Pace & Bounce was so far the reason behind demolition of England in this summers Ashes, and first two matches were just a good bouncing tracks. The Next match is on Perth, The Mecca for Fast bowlers.

England v Australia, Day 2 Third Test, WACA, Perth, 17 December 2010

Perth’s The WACA pitch is the fastest in the world after it is renovated for its pace and bounce. No doubt, Australia will step into the Ashes test no.03 with almost the same pace attack leading by Johnson. England is clearly struggling against The Fast & Bounce of Australian pitches & Perth will be the best option for Australia to claim the series & go for a white wash, whereas for England the draw is looking much more comfortable at this moment. As England is struggling against the pace attack of Australia I would love to see another pace man coming into the squad and attack on England batsmen. Obviously, it has to be Nathan Coulter Nile over James Faulkner or Dougie Bollinger, as Bollinger & Nathan Coulter Nile is on standby. Any of the pacer if failed to recover completely from last match should take rest as per CA.  Undoubtedly Faulkner had been successful and can bat better than Coulter Nile but the pace of WACA would support Coulter Nile’s bowling more then Faulkner’s seam. Adding Coulter Nile will do well to Johnson too as they both played for Western Warrior lead by Adam Voges & WACA is said to be their home ground. Both Mitch & Coulter has done the damage to the oppositions while playing together for Warriors. The reasonably good Lyon has to be dropped for Coulter Nile. He knows the condition well and he has bowled there a lot. Along with Mitch, he can prove to be a vital inclusion in team. On the other note, Coulter can also bat at lower down the order & provide the extra strength in batting. He has been called as “one of the three or four best fieldsmen in Australia” by the national selector John Inveracity.

The Rest squad looks fine with Smith & Watson bowling there short spells to give a deserving rest to pace bowlers,
